ON24 Intellectual Property Policy

Copyright Infringement Notification

It is ON24’s policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. Certain information must be included in these notices, as detailed below, which is consistent with the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Upon receipt of a compliant notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the content that is the subject of the notice.

Notification: If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent thereof, and you believe a copyrighted work is being infringed upon on ON24.com or in our services and wish to file a notice of copyright infringement with us, then you may submit a notice by providing our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
  3. Include both of the following statements in your notice: “I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material or reference or link to such material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use).” “I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed.”
  4. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and if available, email address.
  5. Your electronic or physical signature.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. If you are unsure whether the material available online infringes your copyright, we suggest that you contact an attorney before sending us a notice.

Counter-Notification: The administrator of an affected site or the provider of affected content may make a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2) and (3). If you elect to send us a counter-notice, send us a written communication that includes the following:

  1. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  2. Include both of the following statements in the counter-notice: “I hereby state under penalty of perjury that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.” “I hereby state that I consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which ON24 may be found, and that I will accept service of process from the complaining party who notified ON24 of the alleged infringement or an agent of such person.”
  3. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and if available, email address.
  4. Your electronic or physical signature.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability.
