ON24 Announces Sixth Annual Marketing Excellence Award Winners

Recipients Include Act-On Software, AHA, Deloitte, IBM and Oracle

SAN FRANCISCO — July 14, 2015 — ON24, the world’s leading webinar marketing platform for demand generation, lead qualification and customer engagement, announced today the recipients of the ON24 Marketing Excellence Awards. While this is the sixth year for ON24’s annual competition, this year, for the first time, ON24 is honoring only webinars used for marketing applications. Judging was led by the Content Marketing Institute (CMI), awards program sponsor.

The winning programs all demonstrate how the ON24 platform can be used to advance a company’s overall marketing program. Winner selection was based on numerous criteria, including industry-leading quality, ROI, creative new approaches to marketing applications like demand generation or customer communication and outstanding performance in areas like content management and marketing.

The 2015 winners are:

  • Content Marketing Award: Act-On Software, “The Email Idea Book”
    Act-On created a program to highlight forward-thinking practices in email campaign management, in partnership with Litmus and Target Marketing Magazine. The webinar covered a wide range of state-of-the-art online marketing topics and, in just its first outing, generated more than 1,000 leads and 38 sales opportunities and delivered four closed deals.
  • Innovation Award: Deloitte, “Deloitte Dbriefs Program”
    Deloitte Dbriefs is a thought leadership webcasting program for Deloitte’s current and potential clients that provides regularly scheduled educational insights on important developments affecting their business. Dbriefs features experts who speak to the latest in complex issues and new strategies, offering audiences direct, live access to Deloitte subject matter experts. With this program, Deloitte has been able to grow its online audience while gaining insight into customer and prospect behavior, as well as funneling sales leads into its CRM system on a daily basis.
  • Integrated Marketing Award: Oracle, “Building Better Businesses with Oracle Cloud Solutions for Midsize Companies” Webcast Series
    To promote its cloud solution portfolio, Oracle created a series of five webcasts in five different languages. These events set a new standard for excellence by driving audience interest and engagement, including facilitating registration via multiple languages and leveraging sophisticated design for invitations, as well as extending branding across the ON24 platform. The events delivered insightful and relevant content from great speakers while generating positive results, both for attendance and ROI.
  • Lead Generation Award: Health Forum/AHA Central Office, “AHA Coding Clinic Webinar Series
    AHA migrated its educational program to a webinar format to support lead generation activities. By using ON24-powered webinars to bolster its brand and educate prospective customers, the company was able to generate additional leads and can now funnel webinar registrants directly into its CRM system, saving time and effort. Large numbers of registrants – between 3,000 and 5,200 – helped secure sponsors for future webinars, and the webinars continue to help AHA build its brand in the coding marketplace.
  • Performance & ROI Award: IBM, “Meet the BI Customer”
    “Meet the BI Customer” was a virtual roundtable featuring powerful and notably diverse customers of IBM Cognos Business Intelligence and IBM SPSS solutions. These IBM customers shared their experiences and offered viewers a rare and personal glimpse into BI success from the front lines. This interactive, talk show-style virtual customer videocast generated opportunities worth millions in revenue in less than four months.
