iHire is an employment platform that connects employers with industry-focused talent across 57 specialized communities. As webinars became central to its education and demand generation strategy, the team needed a platform that could do more than simply host events.
By using ON24, iHire transformed its webinar program into a scalable, data-driven growth engine. ON24’s integrations, advanced analytics and automation capabilities give the marketing team deeper visibility into audience behavior, stronger alignment with sales and the ability to expand output without expanding headcount.

Problem
iHire’s webinar program began on Zoom as an educational benefit for Premium employer and job seeker members. The goal was simple: provide exclusive thought leadership and career guidance to both employers and candidates.
But as engagement grew, the team made a strategic decision to open webinars to their full job seeker audience. Registrations climbed quickly — and so did expectations.
While the teleconferencing platform could handle basic delivery, it soon was no longer fit for purpose. The small marketing team lacked access to meaningful engagement data. They could see attendance numbers, but not how attendees interacted with content or which topics signaled buying intent. There was no seamless way to push behavioral data into their CRM system. And without that integration, webinars remained just an awareness channel — not a true pipeline driver.
For an analytics-driven organization, focused on employer registrations and revenue growth, that limitation was critical.

When iHire made the decision to move beyond Zoom, the evaluation process was straightforward. For an analytics-driven organization, ON24’s integration capabilities and engagement intelligence stood out immediately. In fact, it was the only platform they seriously considered.
Working directly with ON24’s support team, iHire integrated the ON24 platform with its proprietary CRM using the ON24 API. Despite operating within a custom-built system, the integration process was seamless, ensuring that webinar activity, attendee behavior and engagement insights flowed directly into iHire’s CRM environment. They also built a Prospect Engagement Profile into their CRM, giving sales a centralized, real-time view of how prospects interact with webinar content.

ON24’s automation and templating capabilities have enabled iHire to scale its webinar program significantly without expanding the team. According to Kerner, “ON24’s automation has saved us an enormous amount of time. Even as a small webinar team, we’re able to run more programs than ever before because the platform streamlines so much of the work.”
The team also takes advantage of segmentation within their virtual events. Segmenting based on industry means they can offer personalized content and CTAs that fit the needs of their audiences within those different industries.
Most recently, iHire adopted ON24’s LinkedIn integration, allowing the team to create and promote LinkedIn events directly from the ON24 platform — opening a new acquisition channel. “The LinkedIn integration instantly opened up a new acquisition channel for us,” said Kerner. “It lets us extend our reach with almost no additional manual work. In our first month alone, LinkedIn drove nearly 10% of total registrations.”
iHire realized additional value by leveraging the LinkedIn Boost feature directly within ON24. “Using the Boost feature within ON24 was a seamless, efficient experience, and allowed us to layer paid amplification on top of our organic strategy for incremental reach. The ability to promote directly from within the ON24 workflow simplifies our execution, reduces manual steps, and keeps our event promotion centralized — which is especially valuable as we scale event volume,” said Kerner.
LinkedIn registrants now represent net-new audience growth, while the integration saves at least two hours per event by eliminating separate copy, creative and event setup workflows.
The ease of the integration has also optimized iHire’s employee advocacy approach. With no additional manual setup, iHire’s Sales and Customer Success teams can now more easily invite their networks, extending reach even further, helping to expand iHire’s organic reach beyond corporate channels, and driving meaningful and incremental engagement.

Results
Since implementing ON24, iHire has significantly expanded both the scale and impact of its webinar program. Event volume increased 3.5X without adding headcount. At the same time, average registrations per event climbed from 500 to 1,500, representing a 3X increase in audience reach.
Webinars have become a measurable revenue driver. On average, each event now generates nearly 100 new B2B leads and delivers substantial revenue from webinar engagers, positioning ON24 as one of iHire’s highest-performing demand generation channels.
Beyond growth metrics, the program has strengthened alignment between marketing and sales, improved lead quality through engagement-based scoring and supported sustainable expansion.
