Introduction

At Aviso Wealth, a lean marketing team was tasked with producing high volumes of content to support advisor engagement. But with limited resources, creating compliant, multi-format content often took several weeks. By adopting ON24’s AI-powered ACE, the team transformed their approach: turning every webinar into a library of reusable, compliant content in days. Seamless integration with their systems and a streamlined compliance review process helped reduce bottlenecks and accelerate delivery, while giving sales deeper insights for smarter follow-up.

Problem

NEI Investments, part of the asset management arm at Avisio Wealth has been using ON24 for over a decade to deliver webinars focused on thought leadership and product marketing. These webinars have played a key role in engaging financial advisors and maintaining NEI’s visibility in the market. But despite the consistent outreach, the small marketing team faced challenges when it came to scaling their content efforts. Creating supporting materials for campaigns, such as landing pages, videos and insights articles, could take a significant amount of time, depending on the complexity and compliance approvals required. This made it difficult to respond quickly to timely opportunities.

On top of the content bottlenecks, the sales team wasn’t getting the full picture when it came to webinar engagement. Without full integration between ON24 and their CRM, they were limited to webinar data like registrations and attendance. This made follow-up more difficult because sales lacked the insights needed to prioritize leads based on actual interest and interaction.

Solution

After a conversation with their ON24 customer success manager, where they discussed these challenges, the team signed on to AI-powered ACE with the aim to create the amount of digestible content their clients want without creating a heavier workload for their team. Amy Krishnathasan, Director of Marketing at Aviso Wealth explained, “This was an opportunity for us to go beyond just the webcast itself, but to get those sound bites that today’s advisors have the time and patience to go through. That’s why we decided to jump on to the Key Moments piece. It was a cost effective thing for us to try.”

Adding generative AI into the mix was also a quick win when it came to compliance. Krishnathasan described getting approval from the company’s AI council, “Once I explained that it’s not using personal information and there’s an opportunity to review the generated content, keeping the human element as part of the process, it was easy for me to get it over the finish line.”

The team is now able to create content off the back of their webinars at a much quicker pace. “We created six content pieces from our first webinar after signing on with ACE — including three videos and a nurture page.” said Claudio Marsala, Senior Product Marketing Manager. “Creating all these pieces, including editing and compliance reviews, took less than a week. Before, creating these various types of content took more time and effort.”

They use the content generated across different channels, including on LinkedIn where they have seen increased engagement thanks to posting short form videos which the platform algorithm favours. Beyond their social channels, they are also using AI to create paid ads and other demand gen efforts. 

They have now fully integrated ON24 with their Salesforce platform so now sales has access to the insights that goes well beyond who registered and attended events. They now can see the level of engagement attendees had during the webinar and tailor follow-up to fit that engagement. 

In the future, the team plans to explore the use of translation in order to reach their French-speaking clients. Marsala is also keen to use the podcast capabilities within ACE to expand their reach even further.

Results

Not only are webinars the top channel for driving MQLs, they have also increased advisors’ perception in the quality of Aviso Wealth’s fund managers. Krishnathasan explained, “We know one of the key drivers for advisors is familiarity with our fund managers, which is why we’ve increased webcasts and field activity. In our relationship surveys, we’ve seen an uptick in how advisors perceive the quality of our fund managers—so we know we’re heading in the right direction.”

Since adding AI-powered ACE, content generation is much more streamlined for the marketing team. They no longer have to wait weeks to get finished content. Instead it now takes hours or days. According to Marsala, it has also changed the team’s approach to content generation in general, “The AI capability has been great.
