Using Webcast Elite, Life Science Connect produces co-branded trade-show-style events annually for its customers. With ON24, it hosts webinars, roundtable events, vendor halls and live product demos, giving attendees and customers an engaging experience.
Over the last four years, the Life Science Connect team has quintupled its revenue while using ON24’s strong customization and flexibility to reduce event setup time and preserve quality experiences. And, with ON24’s powerful analytics, Life Science Connect has also helped its customers reach key audiences with the right information and ultimately drive conversion.
When considering webinar solutions, a robust platform with strong customization, data and reliability was crucial. Life Science Connect turned to ON24 to scale the organization as it teed up for hyper-growth.
Life Science Connect helps customers tell brand stories and inspire confidence in its products through virtual events. With ON24, the company uses webinar and digital event-produced lead scoring and engagement data. This data integrates with the company’s internal MAP, allowing Life Science Connect to help its customers determine where attendees are in the buyer’s journey, and to properly target hot leads. Data from ON24 Intelligence gives Life Science Connect’s teams the information they need to move attendees to the next stage in the sales funnel and ultimately, drive revenue.

With hundreds of webinars and sponsored events under his belt, Miles Szkoda, Life Science Connect’s Virtual Event Producer, has a keen understanding of customer needs and expectations when it comes to digital experiences. Although he has explored several different webinar platforms, Szkoda hasn’t found anything that compares to ON24’s ease of use, reliability, customization options and data capabilities.
According to Szkoda, “ON24 has always listened to its customers, so the breadth and the depth of available features is incredible.”
The platform options help LSC deliver creative, reliable programming to its pharmaceutical and biopharma customers. When organizations purchase webinar packages from Life Science Connect, the team facilitates promotions, sets up the events and provides webinar training as needed.
“One of the things we love is ON24’s ease of use,” Szkoda says. “I can sit a presenter down, show them how to use the backend tools and customization features, and have them ready to run a webinar in 30 minutes.”
Life Science Connect doesn’t just deliver leads to clients.

With ON24 data in hand, the Life Science Connect team then uses its in-house measures and analysis to provide customers and event sponsors with valuable information about webinar performance and engagement. Customer sales teams can then leverage this information to build relationships with prospects, moving them closer to a sale.
Szkoda says setup is a breeze. For multi-day events, the team creates multiple registration pages along with three individual webinars. They can have a registration page up and running in less than an hour if someone needs it quickly.
“ON24 templates are powerful,” he said. “We used to spend 40 hours a month in setup and creation time, which was insane. With drag-and-drop templates, we can do that work in two hours. With the time we’re saving, we can easily cover the cost of the platform in a couple of webinars.”
Life Science Connect receives significant lead generation benefits from webinars. One quarter of its newsletter subscribers come from ON24 events and many event registrants subscribe to their physical magazine.
ON24 has also supported Life Science Connect’s growth since 2018. The team started with about 20 annual webinars. Business was already growing prior to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, but when everyone turned to the virtual space, they were suddenly running more than 100 webinars, eight to 10 multi-day virtual events and 10 to 15 editorial roundtables a year.
Since ON24 is so easy to use, Life Science Connect has quadrupled its output and quintupled its revenue since 2018.
