What is the Webcasting Baseline? B2B publishers always wonder whether their Webcast/Webinar programs are drawing as well as rivals' programs. Webcast network On24 (www.on24.com) monitored 35 publishers across the board last year, finding that Webcast events averaged 500 registrants, with 55% converting to actual attendance. Online events programming was up 33.29% last year, with video attracting more sign-ups and attendees than audio. Those who sit for live streams tend to stay longer than on-demand viewer/listeners - 49 minutes vs. 34 minutes. The stats come from On24's semi-annual report on Webcast activity in its network.
