Account Executive - Toronto

The Account Executive is responsible for selling the full spectrum of ON24's solutions - audio and video webcasting, virtual shows, bannercasts, rich media webcasts and more. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys a challenge and is committed to building a career in sales. Working in partnership with the West Region team, this individual will build a territory and client base by consulting with prospects and demonstrating how the right solution can meet their specific needs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Close new business and build a territory by qualifying opportunities and securing demonstrations/meetings with key decision makers in enterprise companies. Decision makers include a wide range of marketing and demand generation titles, as well as Corporate Communications, IT, Procurement and Sales.
- Consult with prospects to determine the best solutions for their specific needs. Recommend solutions, prepare and present proposals and sign contracts.
- Achieve all individual sales targets set by the company
- Attend sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market place.
- Keep current with all ON24 product information, pricing and contract terms.
- Travel, as required, to meet prospects and customer face-to-face
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of direct sales experience in the B2B space with demonstrated success in solution sales - online publishing/advertising, consulting services, enterprise software or SaaS, or other products/services sold into marketers and corporate communications.
- Specific experience selling to enterprise marketers will be a big plus.
- Demonstrated experience developing new business relationships with all levels of enterprise organizations; a true "hunter" mentality who strives for the close.
- Experience with contract or renewal sales while exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and Internet technologies in order to 'sell' opportunities to prospective customers.
- Ability to create successful sales strategies for ON24 products and/or services.
- Must have the ability and skills to develop relationships quickly, both internally within ON24 and externally with prospect/customers.
- Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management skills.
- Must have superior written and oral communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements.
- Professional experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Integrity, Creativity, Intellectual Curiosity, High Standards, Persistence, and Achievement oriented.
